The feedback I've been reading regarding Red has all been good. One reader emailed me when she was half finished with Murder on Sugar Island and told me that Red had better not die. I do have a couple corrections I would like to note regarding that book. They have been corrected on the eBook version, and the POD, but the first printing still reflect the errors. First, the Glock use a trigger safety in the US, not a thumb safety. Since the book takes place in the US, I should have noted that. The European Glock 17 has both the trigger and thumb safety. Also, I called the Mackinac Bridge the Mackinaw Bridge. Careless mistake. And there are two lines repeated at the bottom of page 175 (on the top of 176). If anyone finds additional mistakes, I would appreciate knowing about them for future printings. Plus, I can fix them on the eBook.

Glad to see Jack Handler is well. I’m hoping that we’ll be hearing more about his exploits soon. I read Murder on Sugar Island and really liked it. Can’t say I caught the business about the spelling of the bridge, or the Glock. But I did notice the repetition on a couple pages. That happens. I would like more puzzles. That was my favorite part of Death Mask. I’m glad Jack did include one puzzle in the Sugar Island book. I’m still working on it. I’m guessing that it will be instrumental in some plot down the road.
ReplyDeleteHaven’t followed for a while. How exciting to hear about Jack again. I missed him. I did really love Murder on Sugar Island. I, too, did catch the business on page 175. The book was so exciting it could have been written upside-down and I would still have loved it. It’s good to fix stuff, though, when ever you can. I just wish you could write them as fast as I can read them. Can’t wait for Superior Peril!
